Here I am in my room once again packing a suitcase. This time I am going to Wisconsin, in hopes that I will celebrating with my friends (and clients) Rachel and Sean Duffy.  Sean is running for Congress in Wisconsin’s Rural 7th District.

Sean Duffy’s campaign has received much National attention especially after being endorsed by Governor Sarah Palin and Governor Tim Pawlenty.  Time Magazine also called him the “next Scott Brown” and named him one of the Top 40 under 40 New Civic Leaders in America, The National Republican Congressional Committee thinks highly enough of Duffy’s campaign that is has included him as one of 22 “contenders” in its “Young Guns” candidate recruitment program.

MUST TWEET MONDAY is about Rachel Campos-Duffy and Sean Duffy

Rachel started her television career as a pioneer of reality TV on MTV’s groundbreaking reality show, “The Real World, San Francisco.” Fans of ABC’s “The View” will recall her recurrent role as a guest-host going head to the head with the likes of Barbara Walters and Meredith Viera in over twenty feisty performances.  She is also the author of  “Stay Home, Stay Happy: 10 Secrets to Loving At-Home Motherhood.” She is sought out by national media outlets like CNN, CNN.com, MSNBC and FOX News, as well as guest host on Hannity, Campbell Brown, Laura Ingraham, EWTN and others for lively, thought-provoking discussions from her unique perspective as an at-home mom, Latina and conservative.
Sean, also a Real World alum, class of Boston who just served his fourth term as Ashland County’s District Attorney, he is a National Lumberjack Champion was born and raised in rural Wisconsin and has never strayed far from his roots. Wisconsin’s storied lumber history runs through his veins. His great, great grandfather was one of the state’s early pioneers and a laborer for the Northwestern Lumber Company. His great grandfather, one of the city of Hayward’s founding settlers, was a sawyer for 27 years.  He is a two-time world champion in the 90-foot speed climb, three-time champion in the 60-foot and an accomplished log-roller. Sean has been a color commentator for ESPN’s Great Outdoor Games, as well as a Badger State Games Honorary Athlete and takes pride in bringing national attention to a sport with vital roots in Wisconsin’s proud history.

Sean believes that much is at stake in the 2010 cycle for his children, and the 7th District. If his Congressional bid is successful, he knows he will be taking an important step to preserve Wisconsin values and the Wisconsin way of life.

Best of Luck to Sean and Rachel! and to me that I don’t freeze in Wisconsin this week!
