How did you get started in marketing and advertising?
Unexpected detour after deciding not to go to law school. Best detour I ever took.

What are your fondest childhood memories?
I have so many it’s hard to have a favorite. We spent a lot of time with my grandparents when we were kids and those memories are the best.

What are your favorite things to do?
Read, write, talk, listen, think, eat, drink, laugh, love, work hard, kiss my husband and hug my kids

What current event has your eyes and ears?
BP Oil spill. Writing about it often, paying attention to what’s going on more often, stalking local hair salons to make sure they donate hair to use in booms in NOLA, pray.

How do you use Social Media in your industry for productivity?
My business is a full service integrated marketing agency, so we use social media for ourselves and for our clients on a daily – make that hourly – basis.

What inspires you when you write? I’m a goof – I find inspiration in just about everything.

When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher. Probably an English teacher. I love words and language.

If you had a Super Power what would it be?
Healer of sick children. They are our future.

Which famous person do you admire?
Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhardt, Katharine Hepburn. They were fearless and true to themselves.

What is your favorite movie?
I love Uncle Buck – because it makes me laugh and I wish I’d had an uncle like that when I was a teen. Also love The Wedding Crashers – never laughed harder.

Favorite snack?
Bliss white chocolate squares. No explanation needed.

What are 3 items you CAN NOT live without?
Coffee, my MacBook Pro, my phone

How do you balance your life – mate, children, job?
Juggle. Constantly, sometimes well, sometimes not. But there’s always tomorrow.

If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be, and what would say to them?
Ayn Rand. “I love your books.”

What is your hobby or do you collect anything?
I love gardening, cooking, drinking great wine, and in another lifetime was a jewelry designer. Have lots of left brain stuff going on.

What chore to you hate?
Putting laundry away. Don’t mind folding it, just hate putting it away.

Do you have an animal/s?
Sophie, a 190 lb. English Mastiff and Bella, a 120 lb. St. Bernard.

Fruits or Vegetables?
Both. Always! Why not???

Mac or PC?
Have never owned a computer other than a Mac … wouldn’t know what to do on a PC and don’t wanna learn!!

Ginger or Mary Ann?
Mary Ann. For sure. So not the girly girl type.

Craziest thing you have ever done?
Decide to start all over having children after 40. And so glad that I did.
